Around the seventies of the last century, Jos Hustings founded the (sometimes one-man-)band Carmine Queen performing self-written songs. This band, and Kings Ransom, later formed Kracq. Kracq started to make more experimental music and most of Carmine Queens’ songs were forgotten. Years later, some of these songs are being renewed by the present Carmine Queen, featuring a fair amount of musicians. What started as a studio project turned into a collective, eager to perform on stage.
